Hindleap Warren is the Outdoor Education Centre for London Youth (a registered charity), working with city based youth groups. It is a purpose built Outdoor Education Centre in a beautiful position overlooking the northern edge of Ashdown Forest. We have approximately 300 acres of woodland grounds which enables us to stay on site for most of our courses, although there are a wide selection of activity sites within easy reach of the Centre. As well as working with city youth groups we also provide residential courses for other groups - Primary schools in particular. Hindleap Warren is currently working towards Eco-Centre status.

We are very experienced in the provision of high quality programmes of Outdoor Education for young people and will adapt our programmes and vary the style of delivery to ensure that we provide exactly what our clients want.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

The EVS undertaken at Hindleap Warren all rely on experience rather than theory. The children will discover for themselves the complexities of the Earth’s natural systems by taking part in specially designed activities. We find that children leave Hindleap Warren genuinely inspired to take better care of the Earth having acquired a deeper understanding and appreciation for it.

All of our outdoor activity sessions provide excellent coverage of the Outdoor and Adventurous Activities section of the PE Curriculum.

OFF-SITE ACTIVITIES

All of our off-site activities provide excellent coverage of the Outdoor and Adventurous Activities section of the PE Curriculum.

Forest expedition, Mountain biking
